Hyaluronic acid fillers and biostimulators
Información
Their function is to achieve a well-defined face and, as much as possible, blur the signs of aging, which causes the loss of collagen and facial fat. The areas most affected by this problem are usually the cheeks, eyebrows, around the eyes, the neck, and the double chin.
Biostimulators stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin in the skin, improving its texture and firmness. They are made of calcium hydroxyapatite and can be used in different parts of the body such as the cheekbone area, neck, and hands, with an effect lasting between 12 and 24 months.
Hyaluronic acid acts as a temporary filler that adds volume and improves hydration, and can be applied to different areas of the face where volume restoration or enhancement is desired, lasting approximately 6-12 months.
It is recommended to use these two treatments together since hyaluronic acid provides more volume and biostimulator treatment reduces and prevents sagging, enhancing their effect when used in combination.
