Tension threads
Información
Tension threads are a minimally invasive technique used in aesthetic medicine to tighten and lift the skin non-surgically. They consist of fine threads made of biocompatible material that are inserted under the skin to stimulate collagen production and provide a lifting effect. These threads are introduced using a needle or cannula into the subcutaneous layer and, once placed, are anchored in the tissue to support and firm the skin. They can be applied to different areas of the face and body, such as the cheeks, neck, arms, or buttocks, to treat sagging and restore skin firmness. The procedure is relatively quick and performed under local anesthesia, minimizing discomfort for the patient. Although results are visible immediately, the full effect is seen gradually as collagen regenerates, which can take several months. Tension threads offer a less invasive alternative with less recovery time than traditional aesthetic surgery.
